Pin connector

Pin Header, one type of connector.

This kind of connector is widely used in PCB circuit boards in electronics, electrical appliances and meters. Its function is to act as a bridge between blocked circuits or isolated circuits, and to take on the task of current or signal transmission. It is usually used together with row mother to form plate-to-plate connection. Or is matched with an electronic wire harness terminal to form board-to-board connection; It can also be used independently for board-to-board connection.

Since the specifications required by different products are not the same, there are also many types and specifications of pin connectors. According to the standard classification of pin connectors in the electronic industry, the pin connectors can be roughly divided in o eight categories: 0.8mm, 1.0mm, 1.27mm, 2.0mm, 2.5mm, 2.54mm, 3.96mm and 5.08mm according to the spacing. According to the number of rows, there are single row of needles, double row of needles, three rows of needles, four rows of needles, etc. According to the packaging rules, there are SMT (horizontal paste/vertical paste), DIP (direct insrt/bent insrt), etc. According to the installation mode: 180, 90, SMT

Pin: straight leg, bent leg, SMT；;

Pin material: brass or phosphor bronze;

Insulator materials: plastic PA66, PA46, PBT, PA6T, PA9T, PPS, LCP.

Surface treatment: gold plating (0.8u ",1u", 3u ",5u"), tin plating, semi-gold fog tin, semi-gold bright tin.

Packing: PE bag, roll bag, tube pack.

Processing technology: firstly, use brass (or phosphor bronze) to process the pin as required, nickel plating and gold plating as required, then use a mold to process the insulator part, and finally insrt the pin in o the insulator according to the size requirement on special equipment.
