Industry research firm Bishop & Associates has released its latest report, revealing that global connector shipments reached $23.4 billion in the first quarter of 2025, marking a robust 7.2% year-over-year increase and continuing a steady growth trajectory.
Regionally, North America grew by 5.8%, Europe by 4.2%, and the Asia-Pacific region surged by 9.1%, maintaining its position as the fastest-growing market worldwide. By application, automotive electronics (+12.3%), data centers/telecommunications (+10.5%), and industrial control (+6.8%) served as the primary growth drivers.
The report forecasts that the full-year 2025 global connector market is poised to surpass the $100 billion milestone for the first time, reaching $101.5 billion with a projected growth rate of 7.8%.
